FAQ's
Common questions we hear from potential patients
What does a chiropractor do?
Chiropractors have advanced knowledge and training in neuromusculoskeletal care. We assess the root cause of your pain and specifically tailor your treatments to your issue. A lot of times, but not always, care includes manipulations, rehab, dry needling, and laser therapy. Adjustments are used to improve the range of motion in a joint and decrease muscle tension and pain. After getting adjusted we want to take advantage of that improved function and do some soft tissue and fascial work on the area. Once the function and pain are improved we typically add in rehab to enforce long term changes that will benefit you in the long run!
Are chiropractors safe?
There are multiple studies that show the safety of chiropractic care. Furthermore, each new patient will receive a detailed history and exam to determine if they are a candidate for chiropractic care. Some people may benefit from manipulation (pops). Other people may not depending on their diagnosis, level of pain, or maybe even fear of the cracking of the back. We offer multiple types of chiropractic care that anyone can find benefits from!
How much does chiropractic care cost?
We do accept some insurance plans and can call us anytime to inquire if we accept yours or not. We also offer out of pocket as well if you do not have insurance. We have packages patients may purchase that gives them a discount for upfront payments as well. If you have any questions about the cost of any service, give us a call!

Children are also able to receive chiropractic care, Dr Kaye has even treated his newborn! As the child progresses through development and even participating in sports, it is important for their body to be functioning at its best!
How does a chiropractor help lower back pain?
Low back pain is the most common reason people seek medical care in the country. Doctor kaye determines what produces the pain in the low back and treat it accordingly. Common issues are disc injuries, muscle strains, lumbar sprains, facet syndrome, and degeneration/arthritis.
How does a chiropractor help sciatica?
Sciatica is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The first step is to determine what is causing this common leg symptom. We use Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to reduce this irritation and improve the function of the sciatic nerve and the muscles and joints surrounding it. Other things we look for in people with leg pain are if it’s the actual sciatic nerve, lumbar spine referral pain, or sacroiliac joint referral pain. Other causes of sciatic-type pain would include trigger points of the muscles.
